Job Description

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an Assembly Tech to join their client's dynamic team in California. The Assembler - Soldering Contractor will support manufacturing operations by performing soldering and electronic assembly work under the guidance of full-time assemblers. This role requires hands-on experience using soldering irons, assembling through-hole components, and working with small hand tools in a production environment. The position is a full-time, onsite role in Scotts Valley, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Solder wires to connectors, LEDs, and other electronic components.
  • Assemble through-hole parts and small electronic assemblies.
  • Use soldering irons and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow assembly instructions, work orders, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support production and assembly teams as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations.
  • Follow all safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous soldering and electronic assembly experience required.
  • Experience with wire-to-connector soldering preferred.
  • Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Manufacturing or electronics assembly background preferred.

Monday - Friday

Benefits:

Competitive pay rate ranging from $29 to $32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Details:

  • Immediate start preferred.
  • 4-month contract assignment.
  • Full-time onsite role in Scotts Valley, CA.
